I am Sandy Ludlow, licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. As a general practitioner, I treat a variety of health conditions including pain of all kinds, seasonal allergies, depression, anxiety and menopausal symptoms. I diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions and partner with Western MDs and Complementary Healthcare Specialists to provide my patients with the highest level of support possible. My practice is located in West Berkeley and I service patients from the greater East Bay, including Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito and Oakland.
In addition to my private practice in Berkeley, California, I have clinical experience at West Berkeley Family Practice, Charlotte Maxwell in Oakland (an integrative medicine clinic treating low-income women with cancer), Berkeley Primary Care at Alta Bates Hospital, East Bay Community Acupuncture, and the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in South Berkeley.
I graduated with distinction from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley with a Master’s of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine. I received my B.A. in Psychology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Northridge. Prior to beginning my career in Chinese Medicine, I had 16 years of corporate Human Resources experience, including owning and operating a successful HR consulting practice.
Chinese Medicine has helped me and countless patients regain strength and vitality. It is safe, natural and effective medicine that helps to restore health and prevent disease. With proper diagnosis, treatment and patient participation, optimum health is achievable at all ages. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you to explore your path to health and well-being.
