I hope this finds you well. The end of 2017 is quickly approaching, so I thought this would be a good time to update you on my practice.
Since pain is the most common condition I treat, I continued to advance my training in orthopedics, electro acupuncture and pain relief for upper and lower extremities, and the neck and back. The current opioid crisis has made me acutely aware of how important it is to provide natural, safe and effective medicine for pain relief.
This year I completed advanced herbal medicine courses specific to supporting patients with cancer. Patients with cancer require a lot of support to help them deal with the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, such as fatigue and loss of appetite. Acupuncture and herbal medicine are extremely helpful in strengthening the immune system, improving appetite and revitalizing the body.
More than ever, maintaining emotional well-being has been one of the greatest challenges for many of my patients this year. With my acupuncture protocols and lifestyle recommendations, I’ve helped many patients feel calmer and sleep better.
I welcomed two practitioners to my office. Bina Jangda, licensed acupuncturist, and Naoko Katakami, licensed massage therapist, and it’s been a pleasure working with them.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to see you in the New Year.
To Your Health,
